Having a blog on your site is a magnet for the search engines. And nowadays, more than ever, what Google is looking for is content, good content. Which is another way of saying good writing.
Anne PenningtonI came away very inspired and have plenty of useful ideas on how to structure a blog, which was the reason I attended. The class was a good size and Clodagh is very personable and experienced teacher.
Before you decide you need a blog, think of why you need it. A good blog should inform, educate or entertain – preferably all three. And you should post regularly. Even if it’s only once a month, it must be every month. Once a week is better.
The biggest problem with writing a blog is finding the time to do it. If you can’t find the time, I’ll write it for you. Or I’ll edit posts you don’t have time to polish. You can also join in one of my blog workshops or, if you prefer, I can come to your place of business or your organisation and teach a group of employees. I will also work one to one. You can see what happy participants have to say about the experience by looking at my LinkedIn profile.
